We are looking for an Associate Director, Regional Medical Affairs.

 

You will be a key member of Grifols Medical Affairs organization as well as the Grifols Nordic team, driving scientific engagement and building strategic partnerships with healthcare professionals across the Nordic region. Together with the Nordic management you will be responsible for shaping and executing the regional medical strategy, ensuring the communication of high-quality, evidence-based scientific information related to Grifols Biopharma products.

 

What your responsibilities will be

 

You will have the opportunity to:

 

  • Lead and execute regional and local  medical affairs strategies, aligning scientific priorities with commercial objectives and strategies in close cooperation with the Nordic team. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare stakeholders, and authorities, while representing Medical Affairs in interactions with regulators and reimbursement bodies.
  • Manage and develop field teams when applicable, ensuring high-quality scientific engagement, execution excellence, and continuous team performance and coaching.
  • Drive scientific communication and education, including medical enquiries handling, content validation, and the planning and execution of medical education initiatives and scientific events.
  • Oversee evidence generation strategies, cross-functional collaboration, and medical affairs budgets, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

 

Who you are

 

  • You have a degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or Medicine (PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred).
  • You have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • You have strong scientific expertise and a solid understanding of clinical research and medical data.
  • You demonstrate strong leadership with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking, combined with business acumen and the ability to influence cross-functional decisions.
  • You have a professional level of English and Swedish.
  • You are willing to travel as required.
