What your responsibilities will be


  • You will lead, manage and develop the overall performance of the assigned territory.  Collaborate with regional associates to influence strategy for current and future product portfolio components, delivering sales and profits within agreed budgets, and providing effective territory leadership.
  • Work closely with and manage local distributors/partners.
  • Participate actively in regional Diagnostics forums, inputting country needs into global and regional strategic decisions, and gathering best practices for use within the territory.
  • Balance and prioritize needs of local, regional and global businesses in the implementation of Country strategy and operational plans.
  • Proactively shape the country market environment, defend and improve Grifols market position and depth of market access by developing strong, trust-based relationships with customers and stakeholders (especially regulators, Blood Transfusion associations, patient groups, customers, media, key accounts, and KOLs).
  • Execute on territory business strategy (based on global vision/strategy) and ensure that these are reflected in a focused, lean, and responsive way.
  • Actively leverage local Grifols infrastructure and activities to develop business synergies.


Who you are


  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Science and/or in Business Administration.
  • You have minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial operations positions Immunohematology Diagnostics/Blood Transfusion industry experience preferred.
  • Proven track-record of P&L responsibility.
  • Proven sales and marketing management ability.
  • Experience in working with and managing distributors.
  • Well-developed understanding of country regulatory and market environments.
  • Strong relationships with KOLs and customers.
  • Proven understanding of product launch and product commercialization processes.
  • Proven ability and experience of risk management.
  • Strong results orientation with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent persuasive and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory (C1+ or C2).
  • Availability to travel frequently at national level.
