What your responsibilities will be

 

The Senior Manager, Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Medical Affairs will apply clinical, economic, humanistic, and technical skills to execute appropriate value-based analysis and is responsible for strategy design and demonstration of various Grifols’ product’s economic and humanistic value. In this role, the individual will ensure the successful implementation of HEOR tactics through appropriate research design, project management, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of HEOR evidence, developing deliverables that communicate the product value to the full range of external stakeholders, including patients, physicians, payers and caregivers.  This role requires the individual to collaborate cross-functionally with individuals and teams across the Grifols organization in demonstrating and leveraging the HEOR value proposition of products within their area of responsibility. This position will report to the Senior Director Global HEOR and work closely with a motivated and team-oriented group of HEOR researchers.

 

  • You will develop the HEOR strategy in support of Grifols products addressing the needs of price negotiation and reimbursement within the US and ROW organizations.
  • You will coordinate and aid in the development of US and ROW product dossiers and other reimbursement-supportive materials based on economic assessments and global needs. 
  • You will develop (or adapt) economic models in response to organizational needs.
  • You will define/develop and implement the HEOR Plan with the design and execution of outcomes studies that establish the economic and humanistic value of Grifols’ products, ensuring the availability of necessary data to support the value proposition of our products.
  • You will effectively work within a cross-functional team to collaborate, contribute and develop strategies and programs.
  • You will provide leadership and serve as the primary point of contact for operational/executional requests and solutions for your therapeutic area.
  • You will conduct outcomes research to a level such that results are suitable for presentation at scientific meetings and/or publication in peer-reviewed journals.
  • You will  effectively communicate economic and value messages to internal and external stakeholders through presentation of outcomes research at medical meetings.
  • You will utilize established expertise in the design, conduct, and interpretation of outcomes research studies.
  • You will provide leadership and serve as a mentor to junior HEOR colleagues to inform and educate on robust HEOR research technologies, methodologies, data sources and references.

 

Who you are

 

  • You have a MD, PhD or PharmD degree in health economics, pharmacy administration, epidemiology, public health or equivalent.
  • You have a minimum 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or health outcomes research plus fellowship and/or business degree is highly desirable.
  • You provide working knowledge of reimbursement processes for therapeutic products in major international markets as well as in the US.
  • High Level of English and Spanish.
  • You have exceptional project management skills and an ability to work independently.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You have the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams within and outside the company.
