Reporting to the Senior Director Supply & Demand Planning, will be the responsible to manage the North America Demand Planning team for the Grifols Diagnostics Division by ensuring the proper planning processes are in place, collaborating with other departments and monitoring parameters and metrics.
What your responsibilities will be
- Provide leadership and direction to the North America Demand Planning team on the execution of Demand Planning activities in support of regional objectives: provide effective coaching and career development for direct reports within the Demand Planning function and their successive organizations and develop and manage team’s career growth.
- Own regional demand and distribution planning processes to ensure product availability to customers: manage day-to-day demand planning activities (such as PO creation, good receipts, inbound PO tracking/follow up) and manage maintenance of customer forecasts and inventories and coordinates the supply of the inventory to customers.
- Develop world class performance of regional Demand Planning function to support regional operations success and growth strategies.
- Drive Regional Demand Planning strategy in accordance with regional sales, marketing and customer needs, Global Demand Planning strategy and overall business objectives.
- Work closely with the Commercial organization to understand new products being introduced to the region.
- Maintain a strong culture of customer focus and continuous improvement: ensure that the highest level of customer service is provided to both internal and external customers and maintain communication with key stakeholders (sales team, services team, and senior management) and customers to understand implications of their requirements for supply chain operations.
- Achieve targeted levels on the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) linked with the function: overall performance of Supply Chain (including, but not limited to: sales forecast accuracy & bias, delivery performance by category, scrap, inventory accuracy, inventory levels, shortages) and key project management (specific KPIs to each project).

- You have a BS Degree in Supply Chain /Industrial Engineering/Business and Master in Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics. Desired MBA.
- You have APICS certification and knowledgeable of GMP and ISO.
- You have at least 5-year experience in manufacturing, distribution and planning/supply chain field culminating in senior operational position and 3-year experience supervising and managing demand/supply planning teams.
- You have High proficiency in current version of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project, experience with SAP, or equivalent ERP system and experience in Sales forecasting and/or S&OP/Integrated Business Planning systems
- You have a proficient Spanish and an English advanced level
- You have Strong analytical capabilities, excellent customer service skills – always willing to put the customer first, you demonstrate ownership in developing the business and your own personal growth.
- You develop solutions that solve cross-functional business problems.
- You are independently able to conceive and create concise and effective presentations to most senior levels of the division.
- Business trips: Expected to travel to US at least on a quarterly basis.
