The Regional Marketing Development Director IBAM will contribute to the commercial success and growth of the IBAM region leading regional marketing initiatives.


In the context of a changing and evolving Biopharma environment there are several factors that must be considered to guarantee the future growth of the Region and the company:


  • Alignment between global strategies and local commercial execution is key to ensure results and consistency, working in an efficient system
  • New products introduction is becoming one of the main growth drivers of the company in the coming years and it requires marketing coordination and process discipline to success
  • In a changing environment, it is key to look for new business opportunities and follow a robust analytic process to provide clear and well supported recommendations to the company
  • Project management, working in multidisciplinary teams is a key success factor. Ensuring smooth communication and transparency is a must


The Regional Marketing position is a central pillar to drive business growth considering this environment.


What your responsibilities will be:

  • Coordinate Regional product launches, being a central cornerstone in the Local launch team and being the IBAM representative in the Global Launch Team, dialogue with all stakeholders; follow up P&R procedure with Market Access and ensure alignment with sales towards product launch.
  • Support commercial department in pre-launch activities (Forecast, Sales Force Sizing, Global strategy implementation, unmet needs, etc).
  • Constantly perform business evaluations, forecast models, post launch analysis, etc. to support business decisions.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities in the region in alignment with the Global defined strategies and priorities.
  • Anticipate risks or vulnerabilities and propose corrective plans.
  • Collaborate with Contract Fractionation Director for IBERIA region and with the Plasma Awareness strategic leadership.
  • Facilitate communication between commercial and all Grifols departments in relation with the implementation of projects and in the day to day regular activity.
  • Maintain continuous meetings with the local sales directors (Bioscience, Pulmonology and Contract fractionation) to identify needs and opportunities and align strategies.
  • Monitor and ensure execution of Regional marketing plans.
  • Provide feedback from the field to enrich Global Marketing plans.
  • Represent the Region in the Global Commercial strategic Teams, ensuring customer and sales force voices are considered.
  • Represent IBAM Marketing in regular or special activities and projects.
  • Constantly monitor business performance providing feedback from a strategic point of view.
  • Support IBAM leadership in the continuous strategic analysis of the regional business, presentations, action plans definition and implementation of new business models, etc.
  • Support IBAM presentations to the leadership for all business areas: Alfa 1 and for Biopharma business including pre- and post- launch activities.  


Who you are:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Life Sciences complemented with business education.
  • You bring 10+ years’ experience in healthcare industry working in business development, international project management, preferably in the hemoderivatives sector.   
  • You can develop programs to maximize sales effectiveness.
  • You are results driven.
  • You have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • You bring budgeting experience.
  • You are very fluent in English.
  • You bring outstanding project management skills.
  • You have positive cross functional and cross-cultural communications in a highly matrixed organization.
  • You are innovative and creative.
  • You are good at interacting with people at all levels fostering teamwork and proactive communication.
