<span 72="">The Director of Global Medical Affairs, EMEA/LATAM/NA will be a key role in the Diagnostic division, the Director of Scientific Affairs directs scientific strategies and activities both internal and external to the customer.

 

What your responsibilities will be

 

  • <span 72="">Scientific expert in transfusion medicine, blood banking, blood policy for Grifols Diagnostic (GDx)
  • <span 72="">Provides oversight of scientific affairs team and deliverables.
  • <span 72="">Directs GDx scientific leadership through research, congress symposia, publications, educational activities, and strong collaborative relationships with key opinion and thought leaders.
  • <span 72="">Provides scientific, technical, and medical expertise and guidance to the GDx and additional functions including Regional Commercial Operations, Clinical Affairs, Global Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality for support activities of existing product offerings and identification of new products and their respective development.
  • <span 72="">Assist in development and implementation of scientific marketing and sales tools.
  • <span 72="">Monitor industry innovation to assess competitive activity and identify opportunities for future business development.
  • <span 72="">Manages relationships and provides liaison with key opinion leaders and investigators of investigator-initiated trials.
  • <span 72="">Contribute to the management and/or review of Grifols-sponsored and investigator-sponsored studies.
  • <span 72="">Work with Clinical Affairs as needed to ensure proper and relevant analysis of trial data
  • <span 72="">Liaison to Global Marketing and Regional commercial teams.
  • <span 72="">Provides material review to ensure scientific soundness and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.

  • <span 72="">Expertise in transfusion science/medicine and business acumen in the blood bank industry.
  • <span 72="">Research and publication background.
  • <span 72="">You bring 10 years of experience in transfusion science/medicine.
  • <span 72="">You have 5 years or more of industry experience including in an invitro Diagnostic market is desirable.
  • <span 72="">Education: MD or PhD required.
  • <span 72="">Ability to analyze and communicate scientific and clinical information. Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and internet databases. 
  • <span 72="">Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills, especially with associates and external customers. 
  • <span 72="">Proven track record establishing and maintaining scientific collaborative relationships with key opinions and though leaders.
  • <span 72="">Ability to travel up to 50%, including internationally.
