Mission
In this role, you will help shape and run Grifols’ global Competition (Antitrust) Compliance Program, partnering with business teams to identify and manage competition law risks, implement practical controls, and promote a culture of compliance across regions.
What your responsibilities will be
- Implement and monitor the Global Antitrust Compliance Program, in line with Grifols’ Competition Policy and SOPs.
- Support competition risk assessments across business units, functions, and services, based on identified compliance obligations (concentrations/merger control excluded).
- Help design and implement controls and processes aligned to risk assessments, avoiding redundancies with other compliance programs (e.g., Anti-Corruption) and maximizing synergies.
- Maintain a control matrix reflecting key competition risks and the controls in place to mitigate them.
- Escalate and report potential violations of applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies to the Director, Corporate Compliance Programs.
- Support investigations and documentation of allegations of potential breaches of competition laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Promote a culture of compliant behavior across regions through proactive engagement and communication.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on competition compliance matters.
- Design, deliver, or coordinate competition compliance training using a risk-based approach.
- Partner with leadership teams to embed compliance expectations into business practices and decision-making.
- As needed, support decisions on remediation and potential sanctions related to competition compliance violations.

MUST HAVE
- Degree in Law, Business Management, Economics, or equivalent, with specialization/strong knowledge in Competition (Antitrust).
- 5+ years of combined external (e.g., audit or law firm) in competition and in-house experience with at least 1–3 years compliance management responsibilities.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Availability to travel ~20%.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across levels and act with autonomy as well as collaboratively.
- Sound judgment and a pragmatic, business-solution oriented mindset; able to challenge decisions when values, policies, or legal compliance are at risk.
NICE TO HAVE
- Compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP, ECOA) or similar.
- Experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical Diagnostics, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with international/regional rules and regulations in the healthcare regulatory environment.
- Comfort analyzing complex business proposals and advising senior leadership on ethical and compliance implications.

Flexibility for U Program: Hybrid Model
Flexible schedule: Monday-Thursday 7-10 to 16-19h and Friday 8-15h (with the same flexible start time).
