What your responsibilities will be

 

  • You will be responsible and accountable for managing all aspects of BDS and BTS finished goods inventory; encompassing reagents, instrumentation and spare parts.
  • You will be expected to establish key contacts and build relationships both externally and internally that will support Grifols Diagnostic Solutions strategic objectives.
  • You will be the primary contact with third party warehouses, suppliers, QA, Product Support and the rest of the Supply Chain team, on all issues pertaining to the effective management of finished goods inventory for Grifols Diagnostics EMEA.
  • You will ensure that the highest level of performance and accuracy in the Demand and Inventory planning processes, for BDS and BTS products, Reagents, Instruments, and Spare parts.
  • You will manage the monthly EMEA inbound process for BDS and BTS products, Reagents, Instruments and spare parts, (from product availability coordination with suppliers, to shipment organization and reception by the third party warehouse):
    • You will generate and follow up the monthly inbound planning tool.
    • You will create and follow up the Purchase Orders for BDS and BTS Reagents, Instruments, and spare parts products: proactively monitor PO delivery with vendors
    • You will manage physical, virtual transfer, returns and movement of materials among various inventory locations, including identifying materials to be scrapped and/or expensed
    • You will manage goods receipts with third party warehouses, interfacing with QA on product releases and completing appropriate inventory transactions within SAP
  • You will manage process for handling Instrument and Spare parts returns and refurbishments, (including interface with Global Purchasing, Quality, Planning, and Technical Service)
  • You will manage cycle counting and monthly inventory reconciliation processes with third party warehouses and within SAP (in order to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy)
  • You will check invoices for Transporters and Vendor invoices, against PO and goods receipts
  • You will perform inbound Freight and Warehousing services cost drivers analysis, and controls
  • You will perform Demand and Inventory input for regional analysis and reporting
  • You will respect of the monthly Inbound plan process & milestones for BDS and BTS products, Reagents, Instruments and Spare parts according to approved forecast.
  • You will meet/exceed Demand and inventory management key performance indicators.
  • You will meet and respect stock level targets for spare parts in refurbishment process
  • You will perform monthly Inbound freight and Warehousing cost control, and meet financial targets
  • You will perform monthly reporting metrics and analysis input in due time

 

 

Who you are

 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or Degree in Business or Supply Chain mgmt.
  • You have 1 to 2 years of experience in Supply Chain / Logistics roles
  • You have excellent Logistics skills – (Transport – Procurement and Inventory Control oriented)
  • You have ability to thrive in detail-oriented environment
  • You have experience with third-party logistic providers and freight, (customs clearance operations experience is an asset)
  • You have experience with SAP, or equivalent ERP system, specifically MM module
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have demonstrated analytical and reporting skills
  • You are proficient in current version of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • You have knowledgeable of GMP and ISO is an asset
  • You speak fluent Spanish and English. Any other EMEA language is an asset.
