That’s why we need an SAP RISE - BASIS Manager like you; expert in RISE and SAP BASIS/SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Administration.
Role Mission
Lead SAP Basis and SAP BTP operations to ensure a stable, secure, and high-performing SAP landscape. Drive operational excellence and support the transformation towards SAP RISE with S/4HANA. You will lead the SAP team, coordinate service delivery, and act as the main point of contact between internal IT, business stakeholders, and external partners (managed services, hyperscalers, and SAP). This role contributes to the evolution of the SAP operating model, aligning IT operations with business strategy and driving continuous improvement across SAP services.
What your responsibilities will be
- Lead, manage, and develop the SAP team, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and validating the quality and delivery of their work.
- Define and oversee the execution of SAP Basis and SAP BTP operations in alignment with business priorities and service requirements.
- Act as accountable owner for SAP Basis and SAP BTP services within the organization.
- Drive the transition to the SAP RISE operating model and ensure effective adoption across operations and support processes.
- Oversee end-to-end SAP Basis and SAP BTP service delivery, ensuring stability, availability, and operational excellence.
- Coordinate collaboration between SAP experts and stakeholders to ensure consistent execution and alignment across initiatives.
- Ensure proper planning and prioritization of SAP operational activities, including resource and capacity management.
- Ensure SAP environments are properly managed in terms of performance, security, and stability.
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes related to SAP landscapes.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, security policies, and external regulations across all SAP solutions.
- Monitor service performance through KPIs and SLAs, ensuring operational targets are achieved.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across SAP operations and service delivery.
- Support strategic planning and roadmap definition for SAP platforms (RISE, S/4HANA, BTP).

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in SAP Basis and SAP BTP environments.
- Proven experience in SAP RISE environments and/or SAP RISE migration projects. (Required)
- Experience in SAP operations management within complex enterprise landscapes.
- Solid understanding of SAP Basis, SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP BTP.
- Familiarity with SAP technical architecture, including Fiori, Embedded Gateway, and system conversions.
- Experience managing SAP operations, including incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business teams.
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in SAP environments.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills in complex environments.
- Ability to drive operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Flexibility for U Program: Hybrid Model
Flexible schedule: Monday-Thursday 7-10 to 16-19h and Friday 8-15h (with the same flexible start time).
