That’s why we need a Systems Engineering Specialist like you to join IVD Systems Department of the Instrument Development & Life Cycle Management (LCM) Area at Diagnostic Grifols S.A.
The Systems Engineering team is responsible for ensuring the technical consistency, feasibility and end-to-end integration of IVD systems, guaranteeing alignment with functional, regulatory, manufacturing and quality requirements to develop robust and compliant solutions.
What your responsibilities will be
- Define, coordinate, oversee and document product and system specifications aligned with functional, regulatory, manufacturing and quality requirements.
- Ensure the consistency, completeness and traceability of specifications throughout the entire system lifecycle.
- Lead and coordinate technical reviews of specifications with all relevant stakeholders.
- Define, coordinate and document system architectures that meet approved requirements and specifications.
- Ensure technical consistency between requirements, architecture, and implementation constraints.
- Participate in technical decision-making processes to ensure the robustness and feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Define, coordinate, execute and document the tests and analyses required to evaluate the feasibility of system solutions.
- Design and define test setups and configurations required for feasibility studies.
- Analyze results and ensure proper documentation and traceability.
- Lead and participate in risk analysis reviews for IVD systems.
- Identify, analyze and propose corrective and improvement actions, monitoring their implementation and effectiveness.
- Lead cross-functional meetings related to system definition, feasibility and integration.
- Develop work procedures and technical instructions to ensure the proper execution of departmental activities.
- Organize and prioritize team activities using Agile methodologies, promoting the adoption of these ways of working.
- Ensure that all documentation related to assigned activities is accurate, complete and kept up to date.
- Apply and promote compliance with Quality System procedures.
Who you are

- University degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Health Sciences or a related field.
- Between 2 and 5 years of professional experience in technical roles related to systems engineering, product development or complex technologies.
- Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering principles applied to complex and regulated products.
- Ability to define and analyze system behavior, interfaces and technical constraints.
- Experience with technical documentation, traceability and structured problem analysis.
- Knowledge of risk analysis and risk management in regulated environments.
- Ability to translate functional, regulatory, and quality requirements into technical specifications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies in engineering or product development environments.
- Proficiency in office productivity tools and technical document management systems.

Flexibility for U Program: Hybrid
Flexible schedule: Monday-Thursday 7-10 to 16-19h and Friday 8-15h (with the same flexible start time).
