JOB DESCRIPTION:          The focus of the IT Enterprise Architecture (EA) Team Manager is to direct the process of managing global IT strategic and operational plans by leading and collaborating with technical and business teams to define, develop, deliver, and manage technology solutions. IT Enterprise Architecture Team Manager leads the development, communication and training related to EA processes. IT Enterprise Architecture Team Manager supports the vision and strategy of the business by understanding the technology being supported as well as external influences, such as regulatory requirements, best in class practices, and economic factors. The IT Enterprise Architecture Team Manager  also ensures, through the use of tools and methodologies, the compliance of supported applications with the business objectives, IT standard, and regulatory and legal requirements.




  • Owns Enterprise Architecture (EA) central tools and repositories to properly support architecture decision processes in all IT Areas.
  • Defines and maintains architecture model to represent all architecture levels, mapping business processes, services, applications, systems, interfaces and other relevant entities… to describe the whole IT architecture that supports the Grifols business.
  • Oversees the global systems map.
  • Defines and maintains the procedures to update the Service Catalog.
  • Directs the creation and review of an enterprise capability strategy to support the strategic requirements of the business. Identifies the business benefits of alternative strategies.
  • Defines architecture assessment contents and execution processes together with the Architecture Board.
  • Implements enterprise architecture working practices to support and enable iterative/agile working.
  • Primary responsibilities for role:
    • Relationship Management, Planning, and Strategic Alignment – and as result of this, critical work relationships are formed and managed; ongoing strategic and operational planning input is facilitated.
    • Product and Project Delivery and Management – and as result of this, products are effectively managed using agile methodologies; and projects are effectively planned, managed, executed, and supported according to governing methodologies, regulations, quality standards, and user requirements.
    • IT Operational Support – and as result of this, operational activities and responsibilities are planned and executed efficiently in compliance with governing policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
    • Knowledge Sharing and Consulting – and as result of this, technical and professional knowledge is shared across IT and with business partners, ensuring clarity and ongoing professional growth.
    • IT Service Delivery and Process Capabilities Assurance – and as result of this, quality, regulatory, and legal compliance are ensured, and effectiveness of IT service is continuously improved.
    • Talent Management and Results Delivery – and as result of this, IT staff capabilities and skills are continuously improved, recognized, and leveraged; opportunities for professional growth are provided.




  • You preferably have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications.
  • You speak advanced level in English.
  • You have a high knowledge of Enterprise Architecture processes and methodologies.
  • You may be certified in some Architecture or general IT frameworks (TOGAF, ITIL, CSA…).
  • You have been working with MS Office tools (word, excel...).
  • You have good self-management capacity and high internal demands to develop quality and efficient work.
  • You have strong interpersonal and comuniation skills.
