The Payroll and Administration Global Director, being a member of the HR team, will be responsible for managing all the Payroll and Personnel Administration activities related to Grifols companies worldwide.

 

What your responsibilities will be

 

You will have the opportunity to:

 

  • Lead all payroll and Personnel Administration processes (planning, processing, distribution, reconciliation, report filling and record filing).
  • Lead and supervise a global team (organization, tasks and performance).
  • Provide orientation regarding strategic matters and legal changes.
  • Understand payroll related accounting principles, partnering closely with the accounting and finance team.
  • Evaluate and develop thorough understanding of the capabilities and shortcomings of existing systems and applications, and opportunities to leverage and scale where possible.
  • Assure that internal controls and SOPs are periodically maintained and enhanced.
  • Oversee payroll taxation process in coordination with tax advisors to ensure accuracy and controls are met for filing and depositing taxes
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of international payroll, which includes accurately recording tax implications of expatriate compensation.
  • Evaluate and implement outsourcing options that align to the desired systems and services of the business, its systems and processes. You will also analyse and report vendor performance.
  • Ensure and monitor proper documentation and mandatory reportings.

 

Who you are

 

  • You have a Degree/Master’s Degree specialised in Labour Relations / Business Administration.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience working in a similar position.
  • You have a good understanding of accounting principles and processes
  • You speak fluent English.
  • You are very communicative, people oriented, you are very focused on process improvement and organised.
