Mission
Coordination and execution of technical projects and initiatives within their area of expertise (Utilities, Facilities, Contract Services, MTO - electrical, mechanical, automation, HVAC), support for strategic projects, advanced risk analysis, and audits. Design innovative solutions for facility optimization, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards. Serve as the team's technical lead.
What your responsibilities will be
- Engineering & Problem Solving
- Lead complex engineering and continuous improvement projects
- Perform advanced diagnostics and resolve critical failures
- Management & Control
- Prepare schedules, budgets, and risk analyses
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contractors
- Develop technical reports and investment proposals
- Continuous Improvement
- Design technical solutions for energy optimization and downtime reduction
- Implement predictive technologies (IoT, sensors, data analytics)
Who you are
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- With at least 5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer in an industrial company (preferably in the pharmaceutical or food sector.
- Strong hands-on experience with Siemens and Rockwell automation control systems.
- Skilled in PLC programming (TIA Portal S7-1200/1500, ControlLogix) and HMI/SCADA development (WinCC, FactoryTalk).
- Good knowledge of industrial communications: Ethernet/IP, BACnet, Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC UA, etc.
- Familiar with SCADA systems, especially AVEVA System Platform.
- Able to integrate DCS/PLC systems with MES and ERP platforms, and support computer system validation (CSV, IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve automation faults in production machinery.
- Intermediate level of English
