This position is responsible for leading the Continuous Process Improvement initiatives and related technology for Biomat USA and its center network through the complete solution lifecycle including:  identifying opportunities, evaluating business processes and technology, translating business requirements into system requirements, developing and implementing solutions, training employees, monitoring new processes and providing ongoing support. Plans technology projects and programs, enhance business value, and deliver technology solutions and services aligned with business requirements.  Provides guidance to the business around vendors and technical trends and analyzes the total impact on the organization when making or facilitating decisions.  Accepts responsibility for all activities associated with effectively building and maintaining business partner relationships.  

Primary responsibilities for role:

  • Work with key stakeholders to drive process improvements that quantitatively and qualitatively improve costs, quality,production and service.
  • Assess challenges, metrics, effectiveness of donor centers for improvement in business objectives. This will include analysis of areas such as Labor, Marketing, Customer Service, Compliance, Training and Internal systems.
  • Lead cross functional teams in developing effective processes, procedures and solutions to meet business needs.
  • Develop and implement solutions for complex processes, projects and business requirements.
  • Train and educate the organization. Implement continuous improvement methodologies including, but not limited to 5S, Lean Principles, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and others.
  • Provide training on new processes for improvement to donor center employees, monitor and report on results.
  • Focus on company-wide and inter-departmental processes that require a high degree of collaboration and communication.
  • Work with Center Managers in identifying CI opportunities within the center network.
  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement meeting on a daily and weekly basis with the center leadership team(s).
  • Business Partnership and Strategic Alignment.
  • Manages changes in priorities, funding, scope, and timing to maintain alignment between business expectations and IS plans and budgets.
  • Builds client trust to establish a working relationship as the business client’s primary contact to IS whenever problems and issues arise.
  • Develops comprehensive knowledge of cross-functional business processes and systems.
  • Engages key technology teams to create and implement strategic solutions that leverage the current infrastructure, capitalize on new technologies, and integrate with business operations to achieve business objectives.
  • Engages across IS functions with clients and project delivery team to ensure that key value-added solutions are delivered within budget and on schedule and meet client expectations.
  • Works closely with Biomat team to define future-state technology operating models and map the business changes needed to realize full value from IT investments, including developing future state business processes, operational models, and staffing plan.
  • Collaborates with IS peers with venues such as Relationship Manager Council to share solutions with colleagues and help solve the needs of their clients by leveraging existing solutions or suggesting new solutions.
  • Other tasks and assignments as instructed by management.


Education – Bachelor Degree in Business or Manufacturing

Experience - Requires a minimum of 3 years of successful continuous process improvement

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Must understand the principles of Lean Manufacturing.  Plasma collection background preferred.  Demonstrated knowledge of safety, quality, and manufacturing programs.  Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and ability to implement effective improvement strategies and solutions. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations and manage multiple projects. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. #BIOMATUSA
