Purpose & Responsibilities of Position:
The US Medical Affairs Intern will support the Medical Affairs team in advancing scientific exchange, evidence generation, and strategic initiatives across multiple therapeutic areas. This role provides exposure to the pharmaceutical industry and an opportunity to contribute to projects that impact patient care through research and education.
- Assist in the development and review of scientific materials (e.g., slide decks, literature summaries, FAQs) for internal and external use.
- Support data analysis and visualization for medical insights, advisory boards, and field team reporting.
- Conduct literature searches and summarize key findings to inform medical strategy and publications.
- Help organize and document activities related to congress planning and investigator-initiated studies.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and industry standards (e.g., PhRMA Code).
Skills/Qualifications/Education Requirements: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Candidate must be currently enrolled a graduate program (PharmD, MD, PhD, MPH, or related life sciences field).
- Candidate must currently have GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze scientific data and interpret medical literature.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
