Position Overview:
The HR Employee Communications Manager, reporting to the Employee Experience Director, will be responsible for developing a communications framework and driving employee engagement through creative and dynamic communications programs in USA, with focus on Biomat.
What your key responsibilities will be:
• Develop and lead an Internal Communication framework with clear objectives, tools and structure (content, channel, audience, calendar)
•Support leadership and company meetings.
•Drive employee engagement and foster a sense of community, while reinforcing the company values, brand and vision.
•Drive the engagement process for the Business Unit, in close collaboration with the HRBPs and Corporate Communications team.
•Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated using creative campaigns to employees and stakeholders.
•Handle the internal communication response to urgent and crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation.
•Build strong relationships in order to collaborate with various cross-functional leadership and team members in the development of communication strategies that aligns to company's strategic goals that drive awareness and commitment.
•Ensure internal communications messages are consistent with external communications messages.
•Coordinate change management projects.
•Ensure all content is measurable and be able to evaluate it using the appropriate tools and analytics.
•Identify and resolve major employee/departmental email communication bottlenecks/problems by creating/advising/educating on efficient email best practice.
•Define the strategy and coordinate global HR Campaigns and specific ones for US audience
•Support US leader to create engagement plan for Grifols employees
•Support globally, internal customers to create an develop internal communications campaigns ( IT, Procurement, compliance…)
•US Inclusion & Belonging (I&B) responsibilities. Develop strategies for diversity, inclusion, and engagement that align with the global goals and include global benchmarking, trend analysis and design metrics to ensure a data-driven approach
o Coordinate US ERGs
o Create and coordinate a US I&B Task force
o Create & dynamize US I&B ambassadors’ group
o Identify local needs & culture approach
o Create US I&B materials
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communication or similar
- Minimum 10 years´ experience in a Communications department; Experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions
- Excellent writing skills and experience writing in a corporate environment including managing multiple internal channels (i.e. company intranet, social media)
- Proven flexibility to adapt to constantly changing environment with critical deadlines
- Self starter, strong attention to detail, excellent project planning and execution
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Interpersonal communication, organizational and customer service orientation skills
- Collaborative and able to work in a transversal and international environment
- Dynamic, proactive and problem solver person
