Plasma Classification Coordinator

1st Shift M-F 5:00 am – 1:30 pm

 

Summary:

 

Position requires coordinating and assuring schedules are updated and completed. Startup, troubleshooting alarms and shutdown of Automatic Conveyor System. Coordinating and scheduling the removal and transferring of unsuitable plasma units per Removal Request.  The position further requires assisting in coordinating the handling and processing unsuitable plasma units per disposition (e.g. Material Destruct Order, MFG, and Sales Order).  Employees in this position are expected to provide leadership, coordination, and oversite of work scheduled for classification Operators and Technicians.

 

Experience:

 

1. Four years’ experience in Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical or other FDA licensed Industry is desirable.
2. Knowledge of cGMPs and Industry Standards.
3. Ability to follow “Standard Operating Procedures”.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Working Knowledge of PU Processing Steps Utilizing SGP System.
2. Working Knowledge of Automatic Conveyor System (e.g. startup, end of shift, troubleshooting alarms, shutdown robot).
3. Setup “Work-In-Process Workstation” with PU folder and PU case labels for further processing on a daily basis.
4. Coordinate the completing of the partial PU cases between PU’s
5. Coordinate Line Clearance and enter current PU in process on the Message Board throughout the PU process. Includes “Pallet Eject” of completed PU and changing” Robot Pattern” for new PU.
6. Responsible for monitoring plasma time out of freezer.
7. Responsible for issuing and reprinting labels throughout the PU process and maintaining label machine.
8. Coordinate and assist Supervisor in monitoring the plasma process to assure scheduling requirements are met.
9. Assist in correcting PU case/units’ volume prior to “End Classification.
10. Perform the reconciliation process to End Classification for a PU. Query Discoverer for any other verification needed to close PU’s (e.g. illegible/missing volume, split shipments, Shipment Cancellation/Reprocess).
11. Coordinate and schedule the removal and transferring of unsuitable plasma units per Removal Request. Includes determining “Status of unsuitable units for priority alerts and pallet location.
12. Print from Discoverer “Daily PU processing Summary Report” and update “Attendance, Training, overtime, liters, tracking logs” daily. (As Needed).
13. Print Work Schedule from logistics and update “Plasma Processing Weekly Schedule” daily.
14. Monitor Update “Plasma Processing Daily Schedule”.
15. Working Knowledge of various rejections found during visual inspection.
16. Working Knowledge of handling and processing of unsuitable plasma units marked for removal during any step of the plasma process.
17. Assist in coordinating the handling and processing unsuitable plasma units per final disposition (e.g. Material Destruct Order, MFG, and Sales Order).
18. Responsible for maintaining Sample inventory and processing Sample MDO’s.
19. Maintain MDO and Good Housekeeping Logbooks by documenting department housekeeping and reporting any unsafe practices.
20. Maintain departmental supplies and commodity inventory.
21. Able to perform job duties with minimum supervision.
22. Ability to follow written procedures.
23. Ability to train others utilizing documented training guidelines.
24. Ability to fill out Temple Facility work order request when needed.
25. Perform daily interaction with fellow colleagues.
26. Perform timely completion of job task through prioritizing (manpower).
27. Ability to support department in the absence of the Supervisor.

 

KSAs:

 

1. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
2. Possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
3. Computer skills in (Word/Excel).

 

Education:

 

High School diploma or equivalent.

 

 

Occupational Demands:

 

1. Able to lift 25 lbs. repeatedly.
2. Ability to perform repetitive functions with high level of concentration.
3. Ability to stand for prolonged period of time.
