The Biopharma Human Resources team is seeking a motivated and curious Summer Intern to support key HR initiatives across our Commercial and Manufacturing organizations. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of HR while learning how a large biopharmaceutical business operates. The intern will partner with leaders and HR professionals across both our RTP and Clayton sites, with the ability to spend time at each location weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HR projects that may include:
- Manager onboarding program development and enhancement
- Job title and job description alignment initiatives
- HR documentation and knowledge‑management systems
- Additional HR process improvement or organizational development projects as assigned
- Collaborate with leaders at all levels—from front-line managers to senior executives—to gather information, support project execution, and communicate progress
- Conduct data analysis using advanced Excel skills to support HR decision-making
- Work independently to drive tasks forward with initiative, curiosity, and strong follow-through
- Participate in meetings, site visits, and cross-functional discussions to gain exposure to the broader Biopharma business

Skills/Qualifications/Education Requirements: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Candidate must be currently enrolled in 4 year degree program pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Candidate must currently have GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, from front-line managers to executives
- Demonstrated initiative, independence, and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to travel between RTP and Clayton sites on a weekly basis
