Days/Hours: Monday – Thursday 1:30pm - 12:00am

 

This candidate will be required to work in a warehouse area, refrigerated areas, and in freezers with temperatures of -30c or colder. This job requires the candidate to continually handle and move boxes and pallets both manually and with automated equipment.  This candidate will be expected to follow established departmental procedures when performing tasks and duties

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs. repeatedly
2. Ability to work in extreme temperatures of -30C or colder
3. Ability to follow written procedures and communicate with customers both internal and external to assigned areas
4. Ability to use barcode readers
5. Capable of performing basic computer skills
6. Responsible for department housekeeping
7. Ability to operate conveyor systems via HMI
8. Ability to identify and separate all plasma types and intermediates for storage in Savanna WMS (Warehouse Management System)
9. Ability to interpret and verify freezer work orders as issued from SGP (Plasma Management System)
10. Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
11. Ability to use forklift and pallet jack and make deliveries to on-site customers
12. Ability to stage freezer work orders to support plasma classification activities
13. Ability to work with minimum supervision and follow detailed directions
14. Ability to perform and confirm accuracy of weekly cycle counts
15. Ability to identify correct plasma during robotic operations for Classification
16. Ability to operate robotic equipment and reset basic operational faults
17. Ability to climb 90-foot vertical ladder in -35 degree C environment
18. Ability to identify and troubleshoot/reconcile faults within Automated Systems associated with robotics, conveyors, and warehouse management
19. Ability to independently learn and operate multiple inventory control systems, i.e. SAP, SGP and Savanna
20. Ability to certify in Fall Prevention Training                                                                                                                                                                                              

21. Critical thinking skills to diagnose storage issues.       

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

LEVEL 1

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of cGMP preferred.
  • One year of Plasma Material Handling experience preferred

 

LEVEL 2

 

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of cGMP preferred.
  • Must have at least one year experience at entry level, Automation Systems Tech I.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
  • Have ability to multi-task in warehouse environment.
  • Possess good organization skills
