Summary:

The Sr Manager, Business Performance & Value leads the Business Optimization Analytical Hub team. This Sr. Manager is responsible for establishing rigorous performance measurement standards, creating advanced financial models to forecast value, and performing deep-dive quantitative analysis to validate and track results from Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts and key Plasma Projects. This role also helps bridges data analysis, performance management, and portfolio planning to drive measurable improvements in efficiency, cost and outcomes for Plasma Procurement.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collect, validate and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support the evaluation of Continuous Improvement initiatives and key Plasma Projects.
  • Partner with Business Excellence to identify emerging risks and opportunities with their operational or financial performance.
  • Develop robust business cases and financial models to estimate project and initiative impacts. Design and execute pilot evaluations.
  • Perform feasibility and budget studies to assess resources needs, cost and benefit analysis for proposed projects and initiatives.      
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Strategy teams to ensure alignment and accuracy
  • Support stage gate process by providing analytical input, data validation, and performance tracking. 
  • Manage team/direct reports.
  • Lead post-mortem analysis of initiatives and projects to validate projected outcomes and adjust future business case assumptions.
  • Maintain standardized methodologies for calculating and tracking project impact and performance. 
  • Engage stakeholders and collaborate with Project Owners.
  • Partner with Business Optimization teams to define metrics that align with strategic goals.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, tools (e.g., DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen), and principles of operational excellence. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, financial accounting principles, and advanced financial modeling techniques (e.g., NPV, IRR, ROI, sensitivity analysis).
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, data governance, and data visualization best practices to ensure analysis is robust and clear.
  • Thorough understanding of the project lifecycle, portfolio management, and stage-gate governance processes, including risk management and change control.                                                           

 

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree required in (Masters Preferred) Business Administration (MBA). Finance or Economics. Engineering Operations Research. Data Science, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in a role focused on business analysis, strategic finance, or Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence. Proven track record of successfully leading, implementing, and sustaining large-scale, cross-functional CI programs that resulted in documented, quantifiable financial savings or operational improvements. Experience managing a team (direct reports), including hiring, performance management, and career development. Previous experience operating in a "Stage-Gate" or formal project governance environment, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex organizational approval processes. Certification such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (highly desirable), PMP (Project Management Professional), or relevant certification in data science/analytics.

 

 

Occupational Demands: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings, presentations, and computer work. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

The estimated pay scale for the Senior Manager, Business Performance Manager role based in the United States, is $144,960.00 - $217,440.00 per year. Additionally, the position is eligible to participate in up to 15% of the company bonus pool. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on education, experience, skillset, knowledge, where the role is performed, internal equity and market data.
