We are looking for a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL), China.

What your responsibilities will be

• Build and maintain strategic scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals and other relevant stakeholders across China, fostering high-quality scientific exchange and long-term collaboration.

• Lead medical affairs activities in the field, communicating evidence-based scientific and clinical information on Grifols Biopharma products while identifying unmet medical needs and emerging healthcare trends.

• Drive strategic medical projects and initiatives, including advisory boards, research collaborations, educational programs, real-world evidence activities and other projects that generate medical value for patients and healthcare professionals.

• Act as a trusted scientific partner to internal stakeholders, providing medical expertise, scientific insights and guidance to support informed decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.

• Contribute to the development of the Medical Affairs function, combining field engagement with project management, strategic thinking and leadership responsibilities that support future business and organizational growth.

Who you are

• University degree in Medicine.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar Medical Affairs role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

• Strong scientific understanding, including the ability to interpret and communicate clinical and scientific data effectively. Candidates should have clinical practice experience. Experience in hepatology or critical care will be considered an advantage, either through their clinical specialty or through pharmaceutical industry experience in these therapeutic areas. 

• Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

• Strong strategic thinking, project management and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities to create medical value.

• Fluent in English and willing to travel frequently across China.
