We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Customer Technical Support team in Melbourne, providing high-quality service and support to Grifols customers across Victoria region.
What your main responsibilities will be
- Install, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain Grifols diagnostic instruments and components.
- Provide customer service via on-site visits, telephone, and digital communication.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Escalate quality issues and maintain accurate inventory levels for repairs and replacements.
- Participate in after-hours support roster and respond to customer inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with Application Specialists and other internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Identify and recommend improvements to products and processes.
- Maintain documentation and service records in CRM systems within defined timelines.
Who you are

- You hold a certificate in Electronics, Science, or a related field.
- You have 3 to 10 years of experience in a service or technical support environment. Experience in the IVD or blood screening sector is highly valued.
- You communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
- You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic testing equipment.
- You are willing to travel, including short-notice trips within Australia.
What we offer
Contract of Employment: Permanent position.
Location: Melbourne, Australia.
Work Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (Monday to Friday), with flexibility for after-hours support.
