We are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager for our IVD business in Italy.
What your main responsibilities will be
You will have the opportunity to:
- Ensure the team lives and executes customer-centricity, defined as listening to customers and meeting their needs to provide customer centric solutions.
- Thereby the Commercial Operations Manager acts in compliance with laws, internal regulations, company strategies & Grifols’ corporate values and supports the Commercial Director in achievement of company objectives.
- In agreement with the Commercial Director, set the vision, define the Italian commercial diagnostic division strategy, ensuring execution of brand and key account plans and marketing plan to achieve the ambition goals.
- Provide activities classified as promotional and aimed, directly or indirectly, to the creation, support and / or increase in sales, considering the possibility or the need for specific investments (scientific conferences, contacts with opinion leaders, decision makers, etc.) and ensuring the proper establishment of the support material for the marketing communication and of the appropriate means to increase market share.
- Ensure correct evaluation, management and development plan for each member of the team.
- Prepare the marketing concept and positioning of products and solutions entrusted to maximize the penetration of the same in the market segments and chosen to optimize its sales volume and operating margin.
- Fit the local strategy based in the Global/Regional strategy guideline.
- Work in synergy with two sales regional managers to follow up the commercial execution assuring a correct deployment of commercial campaigns through SFDC.
- Actively collaborate with Global and Regional Marketing, Medical Affairs teams in order to develop strategy and tactics for Grifols Italy.
- Set targets and objectives for the Commercial Operations department, promote and regularly monitor achievement (sales, MS, prices, timelines, milestones etc.).
- Identify, develop and maintain professional relationships with key customers, KOLs and scientific societies, identifying new opportunities and ways to better meet customer needs, serving as role model in terms of customer orientation, in order to develop a high performing customer centric organization
- Plan and monitor budget and ensure proper resource allocation.
Who you are

- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in scientific discipline.
- You have at least 10 years’ experience within IVD market. You have been working in multinational or complex organizations with strong knowledge in total lab automation solutions and transfusion medicine field.
- You have experience in tender process.
- You have communication skills, accountability and you are results oriented.
- You speak fluent Italian and English.
- You are available to travel the 60% of the time.
