Cost Accountant (EGYPT)

Job objective

Ensure that all entries are accurate and that transactions are reported in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations

Key responsibility

• Review the standard cost and report all type of variances (PPV, POV, ...etc.)

• Support in Stocktaking (Annual and monthly cycle count)

• Update the cost center rate in SAP

• Review the inventory and report any anomalies and aged items.

• Knowledge of ERP: Preferably SAP (Manufacturing)

• Preparing cost of goods sold and production reports.

• Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts

• Assisting in month-end and year-end closing

• Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions

Academic experience required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, or business administration.

Professional experience required

• Bachelor’s Degree in business / accounting / finance or relevant

• 3-5 years of experience (big 4/Accounting Offices are highly preferred)

• Manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Excellent knowledge of the Egyptian Accounting Standards.

Computing skills

SAP experience is required.

Microsoft office.

Languages

Good command of written and spoken English/Arabic
