Grifols is seeking an intern UX designer to join our diverse, multi-disciplinary team in Dublin. At Grifols, we are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people worldwide. You will be an important member in scaling our design operations and collaborating with various brands and stakeholders across our therapeutic areas in the USA and Spain. Reporting to the UX Manager, you will join the design team leading the digital evolution and rollout of a company-wide design system. Our mission is to deliver outstanding user experiences to all users across our various digital platforms.
What your responsibilities will be:
- Utilise our internal design system to create engaging user experiences that align with business objectives
- Identify and effectively communicate design issues and solutions to stakeholders, considering technical and business requirements
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and external partners to ensure high-quality project deliverables
- Design and assist in managing UX/UI projects across various platforms (websites, apps, landing pages, emails)
- Contribute to the end-to-end process on projects, including tasks such as research, wireframing and design to developer handover
- Play a crucial role in evolving and maintaining our design system by suggesting additions and improving processes
- Work on projects in both collaborative and independent settings, meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Support the development of new digital capabilities within the company
What you will bring:
- Pursuing a qualification in UX, interaction design or related field
- Demonstrated passion for design with a portfolio to support
- Familiarity with design systems
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma and Sketch
- Experience in prototyping tools such as Principle, Protopie or similar
- Developing skills in conducting and analysing UX research using various methods and tools
- Detail-oriented, with a problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Awareness of web accessibility standards and best practices
- Ab:ility to follow processes and guidelines, especially in a regulated industry
