POSITION SUMMARY:  

 

This role, reporting to the Associate Director, Global Supply & Inventory Planning, is responsible for end-to-end planning and optimization of the SKU portfolio. This includes production planning and inventory analysis to ensure the customers' requirements are met and inventory is maintained at optimal levels. Analytical assessment of main supply challenges.
Purpose:
This role is responsible for the analysis & reporting of E2E Supply Chain Planning that include the demand plan, manufacturing capacity and supply constraints. This role includes key analytical assessment on key supply challenges and proactive recommendation of gaps’ mitigation.


What you will be doing?     

 

•    Data Analysis and Reporting

  •  Analyse data related to supply chain performance, including inventory levels, costs, and delivery times.
  • Identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Generate reports and presentations for management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas of concern.
  • Use data to inform decision-making and optimize supply chain strategies.


Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate supply chain status, forecasts, and potential issues to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and facilitate meetings with external partners.

Strategy and Improvement:

  • Develop and implement strategies for new product introductions and end-of-life processes.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the supply chain.
  • Drive process improvements and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Identifies and continuously improves planning tools and process. Reviews finished goods for customer order shortages and notifies Customer Service, Manufacturing and Logistics, as appropriate.
  • Works closely with the Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Customer Service and Procurement to ensure timeliness of information and data accuracy to avoid supply chain disruptions.
  • Responsible for the timely aggregation and dissemination of reports and communications.
  • Proactively manages and develops the performance of direct reports and team members through performance management, calibration, resource review and planning, capability, disciplinary, training and development
  • Works closely with IT to bring online new tools and supports processes to drive efficiency into the supply planning process.

 

Who we are looking for 
     

  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools), and experience in data visualization.
  • Supply Chain Management: Extensive knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, production planning, and logistics.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage cross-functional projects, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

  • Degree preferably in Supply Chain Management is required or 5 years' experience within in Supply Planning Manager role in lieu of.
  • 5+ years supply planning experience with integrated ERP system skills
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent command of Presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Think cell..    
  • APICS CPIM certification desirable
  • Experience in Life Sciences Industry is preferred.
  • Experience as a Consultant is desirable.
