POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Quality Training Manager, the Quality Training Specialist is responsible for the management of the sites' training system and providing training support to the site.
Note: Due to the nature of the business additional duties may be assigned from time to time.Knowledge of sterile products and their regulatory requirements is preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Roles to the structure within backend of training system.
- Assigning new training requirements, e.g., SOPs, OJTs, e-learning.
- Conducting Site GMP Induction and Refresher Training
- Launching Job review workflows to Managers.
- Maintenance of the hard copy training files.
- Scheduling of relevant training for employees to maintain compliance for all users.
- Develop e-learning modules, where applicable.
- Run training metrics reports and communicate to site management.
- Develop and maintain internal procedures to ensure continuous compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support audit readiness activities.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure training compliance with corporate policies, GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the global working groups to ensure best practices are implemented on site.
- Review of procedures, policies and other instructional documents relating to training requirements to ensure compliance to company policy and local requirements. Identify gaps in systems and develop feasible plans for correction.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure systems to measure, assess risk and escalate training issues.
- Ensures the corrections of findings, risks and recommendations are promptly and thoroughly incorporated into the quality systems
- Participate in quality management system improvement initiatives.
- Participating as an SME in self-inspection, Health Authority, Corporate or Customer inspections.
- Develop and facilitate in person training for various topics as deemed needed by the business needs.

KEY COMPETENCIES
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with exceptional organisational time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Competence in Microsoft packages specifically word, excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge in all or some systems such as SAP Articulate etc
- Detail oriented with ability to work in teams and proactively on own initiative
- Process improvement and procedure writing expertise
- Flexible, able to adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced environment
- Solid problem-solving skills
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Exposure to a training coordination role within the pharmaceutical industry or related industry at minimum of 2 years.
- Highly motivated with an ability to multitask, prioritise workload and work in a self-directed manner.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong ability to problem-solve and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Good organisational skills.
- Strong office administration background.
- Competence in Microsoft packages particularly Excel.
- Train the Trainer qualification
