QC SAP Specialist is required executing the day to day SAP activities of the Quality Control (QC) department at Grifols Worldwide Operations (GWWO).  Reporting directly to the Quality Control Manager of Grifols Worldwide Operations (GWWO).


The Job

  • Creation and maintenance of master data for Quality sampling inspection plans for raw materials, water, in process testing and finished products
  • Ensure consistent approach to Data integrity requirements for all Master data set up related to instrumentation and processes in QC
  • Involvement in SAP activities related to new product introduction and/or transfer
  • Participate in SAP related internal and external projects as required. Provide timely and pro-active QC SAP support and guidance to facilitate project timelines
  • Participate in SAP System requests for change and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure consistent approach to qualification, change and deviation management across SAP systems
  • Collaborate cross functionally and across Grifols sites where relevant
  • Manage deviations, CAPA’s and change control’s related to the QC functionality in SAP
  • Create, maintain and update KPI’s including SAP reporting to support the QC Function at GWWO
  • Creation and maintenance of controlled documentation describing functionality of Quality Management in SAP
  • Provide SAP training to Quality Control Department personnel as required
  • Provide End user support to QC personnel in the SAP system
  • Provide QC departmental support in other activities as requested
  • Comply with GWWO procedures relating to GMP/GDP and other site procedures assigned
  • Strong SAP skillset in management of quality master data
  • Excellent understanding  of Quality Management module
  • Good understanding of Materials Management and Production Planning modules
  • Good problem solving and continuous improvement skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines




  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate at a variety of levels within and outside the organisation
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs, as well as demonstrated problem solving and project management ability.
  • Proficient in SAP Quality Management module with previous experience of inspection plan set up and maintenance.
  • Minimum of B.Sc Degree or equivalent third level education.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in quality environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of data integrity requirements.
  • Understanding of laboratory processes and testing
