The Product Operation Lead will Support a successful and value-added implementation of Grifols Biopharma’s monthly Product Planning process in the context of Integrated Business Planning (IBP, advanced S&OP) that enables the company long term strategic plan by ensuring product portfolio changes (new product introduction, developments in already marketed products and discontinuations) are aligned with the strategy, compliant with all requirements and executed in a timely, efficient and  effective manner.

 

The position will primarily be based in Grifols Worldwide Operations, Dublin, Ireland with travel expected in line with business needs to other Grifols locations.

 

What your responsibilities will be:

  • Collaborate in the creation of Biopharma’s Product Operations Planning department and support the implementation of new processes/flows/tools.
  • Improve existing processes/flows/tools to ensure a high level of transparency and alignment at all times and between all areas (Industrial, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing, Commercial Ops, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, R&D, Project Management...)
  • Support all Grifols areas prompting product portfolio changes to make them a reality as soon as possible, if feasible and aligned with strategy
  • Project management of product launches, changes and discontinuations through the standard stage and gate methodology. Follow up of the business case evolution and track changes in terms of both timelines (ie. regulatory, first release, communication to customers, etc) and deliverables (cost, revenue, volume, etc).
  • Provide support in the preparation of the monthly product planning review meeting.

 

What you'll bring:  

  • Strong understanding or experience in the pharmaceutical industry including business acumen and operations processes.
  • Strong understanding or experience in IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process.
  • Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes & functions
  • Ability to generate high quality project and strategic plans
  • Capacity to deal with several cross-functional and international projects at the same time while managing priorities.
  • Identify and solve problems quickly.
  • Strong capability to manage ambiguity, find pragmatic solutions & align/influence a vast number of stakeholders across all organizational levels and cultures.
  • Proven transformational capabilities to drive & manage process standardization across different areas.
  • 5 years’ experience in operations roles within the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or relevant industries
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency using technology tools that enable reporting and collaboration with stakeholders. Ie. Microsoft package.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP
  • Familiar with any of the following tools: RapidResponse, Planview, TeamWorks, Psoda, Project Objects, myPARM, Metier PPM, FlightMap, Daptiv PPM, Clarity PPM, Antura Projects, …
  • Experience with AI and setting up bots.
  • Having worked in a in a pharmaceutical, GMP, or FDA / EU regulated environment.
