POSITION SUMMARY:

 

A Procurement & Logistics Graduate Rotation position is available within the Supply Chain Department in Grifols Worldwide Operations (GWWO). Over the duration of 24 months, the successful candidate will rotate between the 2 Departments. As a Procurement and Logistics Graduate  you will leverage your analytical and technical skills to undertake a project aimed at enhancing the functionality and service levels provided by our team to internal customers. You will gain hands-on experience with the SAP tool, supporting internal stakeholders and suppliers in managing procurement tasks. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment and contribute to meaningful improvements within both  the Procurement  and Logistics team.

 

The roles support will grant a wide variety of experience in the different areas within the supply chain area.

 

What you will be doing:

 

Rotation 1: Procurement Operations and Procurement Excellene

 

Procurement Operations

 

  • Managing material and vendor master data
  • Engaging, developing, and enhancing interdepartmental communication within Grifols: Operations, Facilities, Maintenance, HR, Quality, Laboratory, etc.
  • Support in implementing change, improving and/or developing new processes as required to provide better services to our internal customers.
  • Collaborate for continual improvement in supplier service and costs
  • Collaborate with the Procurement team in market/industry research to prepare pre-negotiation meetings
  • Translate purchase requirements (PR) into Purchase Orders. Placing POs on SAP and follow up delivery dates with vendors
  • Perform Supplier Order Confirmations in SAP ERP system
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics. Collect, transform and analysis data to improve process or identify solutions for business problems. Submit reports to the team and if it’s necessary make presentation of a topic.
  • Pulling source information and updating price agreements/contracts on SAP.
  • Develop template for price comparison and support the specialist in vendor selection.
  • Support the update of Procurement documentation and processes where necessary
  • Assist with other Procurement projects as required

 

Procurement Excellence:

Provide support to Project Managers in: 

 

  • Developing and maintaining project documentation.
  • Preparing training materials and sessions. 
  • Gathering relevant data and tracking project tasks and milestones. 

 

Assist procurement teams by: 

  • Addressing questions related to procurement tools and systems. 
  • Preparing and delivering training sessions when necessary.

 

Other Activities:

  • Manage and maintain the support email inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses. 
  • Understand local business processes to effectively gather and document requirements. 
  • Align documentation and processes with group-level procurement teams to ensure consistency and compliance. 

 

Rotation 2: Logistics operations and Compliance

 

  • Generate documentation related with international activities; invoices, packing list, etc.
  • Support the legal formalities, compliancy and reporting related with international activities in/out Dublin; Intrastat, Tariff classification etc.
  • Support in providing instructions to customs agents to customs clear shipments inbound/outbound.
  • Transportation coordination with freight forwarders approved according with regulatory and business requirements, following the transport companies, routes and timelines validated.
  • Support in stock monitoring, review and management forecasting shipment bookings with freight forwarders and coordinating with customer service to schedule and optimise shipments.
  • Support in monitoring, review and transport requirements.

 

Who we are looking for 

 

Educational Background

Minimum BSc/ BA/ BEng in Supply Chain & Logistics or equivalent

 

Core Skills

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Must be proactive, results oriented and posess attention to detail
  • Self starter and strong work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel in a professional manner
  • Strong organizational skills, analytical and problem solving skills with bthe abilty to mae structured decisions on a routine basis
  • Ability to effectively priortise and manage multiple taksks to meet targeted deadlines
  • Computer knowledge in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
