The Process Improvement intern will be responsible as a process improvement intern you will work with management and the continuous improvement engineer 

 

What your responsibilities will be:

 

  • Support Accelerated Improvement Workshops mainly focused on the improvement of efficiency in different production areas, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Investigate and document process best practices to be shared across the shop
  • Support the implementation of lean methodologies, including 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain), to optimize workplace organization and efficiency.
  • Assist in collecting and analysing data to measure process performance and identify improvement opportunities, adhering to Lean Six Sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control) methodology
  • Assist in collecting and analysing data to measure process performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and kaizen events to generate innovative solutions to process challenges.
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement within the organization
  • Display reports in meetings to management and external groups
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager

 

What you will bring:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in: Science or Engineering
  • Highly motivated individuals who can collaborate in teams and be a self-starter
  • Not afraid to ask questions and be curious, with willingness to learn
  • Computer skills, Office 365, especially Excel
  • Highly focused, with an analytical mindset to find solutions for problems
