POSITION SUMMARY:
This role relates to the secondary packaging and visual inspection of pharmaceutical products for Global markets in line with relevant regulatory and cGMP standards using a mixture of automatic and manual packaging lines
What You'll Do
- Packaging and/or visual inspection of Product across multiple packaging lines that can operate on a 24/7
- Set up and operate and troubleshoot Secondary packaging assembly line equipment in a biologics processing environment for plasma derived pharmaceuticals.
- Ability to learn new processes within Grifols
This role involves critical visual inspection tasks that require accurate colour differentiation and 20/20 vision (corrective lenses permitted, not contact lens). These visual capabilities are essential to ensure the safety and quality control of the product.
Recruitment Criteria
- Applicants must have normal colour vision, due to the nature of colour-based tasks performed in this role.
- A colour vision test will be included as part of the pre-employment screening process.
- Successful candidates will be required to pass a colour vision assessment prior to receiving an employment offer.
- Completion of Batch documentation and associated records
- Reconciliation of materials
- Support new staff in knowledge transfer
- Attention of detail in duties
- Perform wrapping of pallets and associated SAP transaction when required
- Ensure Training is up to date
- Perform other duties as requested by Team Leader/Supervisor/ Management

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift /move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods - up to four (4) hours at a time.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Manual dexterity to perform all job functions.
- Previous experience in a Packaging or Manufacturing industry
- Competent in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of cGMPs, EU regulations, and industry guidelines highly preferred.
- Belt certified (Yellow, Green or Black)
Qualifications
- Minimum leaving cert from Secondary school or equivalent
- Minimum of B.Sc Degree or equivalent third level education
