Position Summary:
Are you ready to dive into the world of finance? As a Financial Planning & Control Analyst in our Graduate Program, you'll assist the Controlling area and gain hands-on experience in financial planning and control. This is your chance to make a real impact while developing your skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
What you will be doing:
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the monthly/year-end closing and financial reporting process, analyzing operating results and budget versus actual reporting, including detailed explanations of variances.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process, including expenses, headcount, and capital expenditure.
- Capital Expenditure Management: Help manage capital expenditure and provide status reports to relevant stakeholders in Grifols.
- Cost Accounting: Maintain the cost accounting system, involving master data, project portfolio, and product costing.
- Month-End Close Duties: Participate in month-end close activities such as preparing reports and journal entries.
- Inventory Management: Prepare, reconcile, and review inventory and provision accounts to ensure accurate inventory valuation.
- Compliance and Audits: Assist in verifying documents required by the SOX compliance team and prepare audit schedules for internal/external auditors.
- Special Projects: Provide support for special projects and ad hoc requests.
- Physical Inventory: Assist in physical inventory tasks.
- Critical Thinking: Perform assigned tasks using established procedures with sound judgment, evaluation, and critical thinking.
Who we are looking for
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Experience with enterprise software systems.
- Knowledge of fundamental accounting and cost accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in finance, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Ability to identify continuous improvement measures.
- Proactive, results-oriented, with strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and good judgment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with personnel at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong Excel skills (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, basic accounting formulas).
