POSITION SUMMARY:    
The Financial Planning & Control Analyst is responsible to assist the Planning & Control department for the manufacturing operations.


What your responsibilities will be:

  • Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process for Manufacturing areas (COGS) including expenses, headcount and capital expenditure.
  • Analyse the financial information associated with the Manufacturing area in GWWO.
  • Participate in the month-end close duties related to manufacturing activities.
  • Prepare plant operating results (KPIs) and management reports.
  • Capital expenditure management for the plant and status reporting to the relevant stakeholders in Grifols.
  • Assist in analyzing and reporting manufacturing variances and their causes.
  • Assist in maintaining of the cost accounting system, involving master data and product costing of non-plasmatic raw materials in the Dublin plant.
  • Assist in preparing, reconciling, and reviewing inventory and provision accounts for proper inventory valuation.
  • Assist in verifying documents required by SOX compliance team.
  • Maintain compliance with Corporate Financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and provide requested information for internal/external auditors.
  • Assist in in physical inventory.
  • Assist in performing assigned tasks using established procedures with sound judgment, evaluation, and critical thinking.

What you will bring to the role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Business Administration / Industrial Engineering. 
  • Experience utilizing enterprise software systems is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of fundamental accounting and cost accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Ability to identify continuous improvement measures.
  • Must be proactive, results oriented, and have strong attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and the ability to exercise good judgment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet targeted deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make structured decisions on a routine basis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Strong Excel skills, i.e. knowledge of V-Look Ups, Pivot Tables, basic accounting formulas, etc.

Desirable

  • Specific experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Specific experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is preferred.
