What You Will Do:
Rotation 1: Accounting (6 months)
- Accounts Payable & Accruals:
- Process high volume of Invoices such as but not limited to Inventories, OPEX and CAPEX; provide cover for colleagues as needed.
- Track and record invoicing to clear down monthly accruals.
- Liaise with Operations staff on appropriate accrual amounts and follow up on discrepancies.
- Reconcile supplier statements with AP ledgers and communicate with vendors to resolve any invoicing or payment issues in conjunction with Procurement department.
- Review vendor balances to ensure payments information is accurate in weekly and monthly basis.
- Liaise with operations staff on invoice approvals and PO closures.
- Banking
- Credit card analysis and posting in General Ledger.
- Allocate Intercompany cashpool/loan transactions in different currencies.
- Management and statutory accounting
- Post general ledger journals.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
Rotation 2: Treasury (6 months)
- Perform cashflow forecasting, liquidity management and payment processing.
- Foreign Exchange Management
- Administer Grifols debt facilities including issuance and adherence of debt interest and repayment conditions
- Produce, distribute and update (where possible) cash, foreign exchange, debt facilities and Month End Sox reporting
- Assist the Treasury team in enhancing the current process and control environments.
Rotation 3: Credit & Collections (6 months)
- Build working relationship with affiliate finance and commercial departments.
- Monthly, weekly reports and files preparation (including DSO, CEI, Overdue, high risk customers) for distribution to Management
- Assist with the arrangement and negotiation for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers' financial situations in collaboration with Credit Risk department.
- Credit Securities-including Bank Warranties, Letter of Credits, Insurance.
- Credit Line Reviews including D&B recommendations.
- Requesting customer Credit Approvals
- Setting up customer credit lines in SAP.
- Block Order Releases process
Rotation 4: Candidate’s Choice (6 months)
Other Ad-hoc activities
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, handling correspondence.
- Involvement in projects as required.
