Warehouse and Logistics Apprentice
Main learning opportunities:
- To complete the modules within the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative (Level 2) (ST0259)
- To understand Good Distribution Practices and demonstrate how to apply the principles
- To ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed
- To participate in training in all aspects of Warehousing including forklift, Health and Safety, Manual Handling etc.
- To understand and follow the principles of the company's Quality Management and Business Continuity Systems
- To help to ensure that the warehouse is maintained in a neat, clean and tidy state
- To provide assistance with deliveries/placement of Grifols supplied instrumentation as instructed by the Warehouse Manager
- To proactively engage and take responsibility for learning by seeking support as required
- To demonstrate a positive and willing attitude
Qualifications & aptitude:
- 5 GCSEs at D grade or above including Maths and English (flexible for right candidate)
- High attention to detail
- IT literate
- Positive and willing to learn
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willingness to learn
Time commitment:
• Travel to Warehouse location in Water beach, Cambridge -Monday to Friday.
• 35 hours per week Monday to Friday plus an additional daily break of no less than 30 minutes and a morning break of 15 minutes (depending on age and in line with the working time directive)
