The Application & IT Specialist is responsible for supporting customers and Grifols members on IT solution installed on customer site. This apply to all product lines NAT, BTS, and other Grifols Diagnostics manufactured/distributed products.

The Application & IT Specialist is expected to work efficiently with multi-functional teams including DxCTS, Sales, Quality, Regulatry Affairs, Marketing, Manufacturers, other global business partners to resolve technical issues in a time-sensitive manner.

The Specialist is also expected to be responsible for complaint handling processes to ensure complaint life cycle management is in compliance, and work effectively with global Field Service Engineers (FSE), Technical Application Specialist (TAS) and Service managers to facilitate technical issue resolution.

Collaborate with Grifols Application & IT specialist based in others countries to provide level 2 support                                         


Major Accountabilities (List main duties of the job and physical requirement if any)

  • Manage Applications, IT and Software related technical escalations; communicate with manufacturers and provide inputs to field staff on resolving technical issues in time-sensitive manner to comply with complaint investigation closure metrics
  • Setup training on products and train Grifols employees and distributors on new products and IT solutions
  • Build investigation/support competency in Grifols Diagnostic product lines
  • Provide expertise in Applications, Software anod other Network issues related investigations of escalated field issues to identify the root cause and assess the product impact. Determine immediate and long-term resolution options.
  • Work with Quality department effectively to resolve issues related with complaint life cycle management
  • Provide subject matter expertise for Global Response Team internal staff and multifunctional teams on performance and complaint investigation of NAT, BTS and other products.
  • Work effectively in cross-functional project teams to contribute to building a network of internal and external collaborators with appropriate product expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with global business partners to achieve collaboration and develop mutually acceptable approaches for efficient product problem investigation and resolution to meet customer expectations.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on project teams to assess needs and provide technical content to sup-port product commercialization activities.
  • Build professional working relationships with counterparts at Grifols partner organizations including Hologic, Grifols Industrial Divisions.
