POSITION Summary:

 

The Site Procurement Specialist is an expert specializing in the operational and technical tasks of the procurement process. They are responsible for the evaluation and selection of products, cost analysis, and order tracking.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned,

  • Operational procurement tasks, ensuring efficient and effective acquisition of goods and services.
  • Control purchased orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company requirements
  • Product and supplier evaluation, ensuring selection of high-quality and cost-effective options.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Conduct cost comparisons and analysis, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency
  • Compliance with procurement standards, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of procurement activities with overall business strategies.
  • Maintain procurement records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

  • Knowledge and application of work rules (GMP, PNT, INS, BPL, etc...) according to defined procedures.
  • Fulfillment of registers, if there are any.
  • Respect for established quality, security and hygiene and environmental rules.
  • Informing the direct manager about any incident during the normal course of their work.
  • Carrying out the tasks of lower professional groups, if necessary.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Ability to lift /move up to 25 pounds.

Ability to stand for extended periods - up to four (4) hours at a time.

Manual dexterity to perform all job functions.

 

 

The estimated pay scale for the Site Procurement Specialist role based in Los Angeles, CA, is $68,640 to $90,000 annual salary.  Additionally, the position is eligible to participate in up to 5% of the company bonus pool. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on education, experience, skillset, knowledge, where the role is performed, internal equity and market data.
