Purpose & Responsibilities of Position:

The Quality Assurance Documentation (QAD) Intern will have the opportunity to learn about quality system processes like change control and document management. Learn collaboration and coordination with cross function team performing strategic actions to ensure compliance and improvement to business processes.

• Perform records review for status and pending actions
• Define and execute weekly target for migration of records into system
• Collaborate with cross functional area to define target timeline for projects and document revisions.
• Coordinate and strategize action plan for efficiency and effective completion of tasks.
• Opportunity to identify challenges and opportunities for business process improvement.
• Communicate effectively to provide routine updates regarding status
• Periodic check-ins for project status update and receive guidance/mentoring for challenges and development
• Monitor and track action items for completion

Skills/Qualifications/Education Requirements: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Candidate must be currently enrolled in 4 year degree program pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Scientific field (Biology/Chemistry preferred) as rising junior or senior OR currently accepted or enrolled in Master’s or PhD program
• Candidate must currently have GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Familiarity/comfort with Excel, including working with Macros and pivot tables; Microsoft word and PowerPoint

The estimated pay scale for Intern role based in California, is $18 -$22 per hour. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on education, experience, skillset, knowledge, where the role is performed, internal equity and market data.
